ALine East Alliance: Main Roads WA, Brierty, BG&E, WML Alliance

Commissioned in August 2006 this integrated business management system is designed to meet the public information, document management and incident reporting needs of a major construction project.

The ALine East Alliance development is a multi-million dollar road construction initiative being undertaken by an innovative partnership between the WA State Government and private enterprise to upgrade a key section of Great Eastern Highway in the wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

Essential to the project's success was the establishment of an online information management system to meet the diverse needs of a multidisciplinary project team, a remote regional workforce and business stakeholders in a variety of locations.

Creative Nature designed and developed an integrated management system that featured:

• Intranet and extranet publishing with content management capabilities
• Document management system with versioning and workflow to meet ISO 9001 requirements
• Incident management and reporting system incorporating quality, safety and environmental incidents
• RFQ and action tracking
• Graphical reporting, and
• Role based security
